HEALTH CARE PLANS - COVERAGE

Check your personal health care plan, you may be covered. B.C. and Alberta does not cover reflexology unless there are special circumstances such as a court order for accident victims or victims of trauma. Who knows, perhaps someday reflexologists will be part of the health care system, offering complimentary therapies and giving people a choice which they are not offered now through our system of “make money first”. We must all try to value each other and give each other respect.

Reflexology, Reiki and all healing arts are here to heal people, not just to make money. I don´t know of any other healing art that is truly worth having if making money is all there is. Money´s great but it is not the end all and be all of existence, although it makes everything comfortable. Even with money nowadays, people are still treated very badly in what is called our “caring” system. If we really cared about people, we wouldn´t want to hurt them now would we We would try to alleviate their pain and try not causing more pain in the process wouldn´t we Hopefully, our society will learn to give people a choice and not try and crush everything that is helpful because a profit cannot be made on it.
