ILLNESSES, CONDITIONS AND AILMENTS

Most diseases today can be attributed to stress, poor eating habits and lack of exercise. The following list is just a few of many dis-eases that can be alleviated with the right combination of food, reflexology and herbs.

DRUG ADDICTIONS & ALCOHOLISM
These are physical, intellectual and emotional dependencies on a chemical leading to the belief that without the chemical, life is unbearable. These are very common addictions in our societies throughout the world.

Being an addict means going from having lots of options to having none. You can think you have no options but you do. What you think here is the key to overcoming your habit. Here’s a quote:

“Addictive substances are generally used to overcome what is perceived to be either physical, emotional, or intellectual pain over which the addict has no control.” John Kappas, Ph.D. All quotes are from J. Kappas.

“What is perceived”, is the key because in reality addicts still have options open for them. With hypnosis and reflexology both physical, emotional and intellectual pain can be eliminated. You will not lack for anything – you’ll be secure, decisive, tolerant, confident. Your fears, frustrations and insecurities will melt away.

I’ll teach you acupressure points to alleviate cravings while hypnosis will relieve the emotional stresses while ridding yourself of unwanted and undesirable behaviours.

GAMBLING
Winning and losing, that’s the name of the game in our society. When growing up, we’re encouraged to win and that’s well rewarded and even when we lose we’re still desired because we lose gracefully. It’s easier to have a non-threatening “good loser” around but society still values competition & puts great emphasis on “winning”. When material wealth is so valued there’s always some sap who will try to get rich quick. Gamblers are much in demand in our country with quickly expanding casinos everywhere and a liquor store on every corner.

Gambling is: Giving up something for nothing.
Giving up Gambling is: Giving up a fantasy for reality and getting to know yourself better.

Treatment: Removing anxiety; frustration, depression and realizing the futility of the situation. Coming to the realization that you are not perfect and you may even have some flaws.

Getting to the root of the problem, once again exposes where the behavior came from usually helps diminish the need when looked at from a different perspective.

NEUROSIS – Depression & Anxiety
Being neurotic simply a label put on “people who exaggerate their normal behavior patterns beyond conscious control.” The subconscious is like a sponge absorbing everything it is told but it can’t reason so it just holds on to everything put into it since you were born. Before the age of reason in your life, you simply took everything in without questioning it. This may have resulted in “unresolved conflicts” since early childhood since the input may have been contrary to what your subconscious mind understood at the time.

Treatment: Find the root cause of the problem(s); expose it; view it in the light of what you now know; stop accepting negative suggestions as reality. Dehypnosis & desensitization.
