HANGOVER

- OhOh!! Time is really the only way to get the alcohol out of your system honey but you need to feel better a little sooner than that so you have a massage, acupressure, reflexology or other massage. See juices for Hangover recipes. Drink lots of water since alcohol dehydrates. Eat fruits with Vitamin C in it to help speed the alcohol out of your body like oranges, strawberries, grapefruit; eat whole grains, fish and beans.

For quick relief through reflexology, squeeze the flesh located above the webbing between the thumb and fingers. When you feel an odd sensation, not too comfortable but you will feel it, then you have what is called the headache reliever. Hold this point with your other thumb and index finger underneath for five minutes. This is actually the adrenal reflex on the hand and will give some immediate relief. - Pregnant women should avoid drinking altogether but this can cause uterine contractions.

If you are sensitive to light with a hangover take your thumbs and press them along the inner ridge of your upper eye sockets, you will feel it when you have the right points and also at the bridge of the nose there are two points on each side of the nose. You will also feel it when you have the right spots. Do not rotate your fingers, just gently press, holding for a couple of minutes while doing some deep breathing exercises like those practiced in yoga. You can also use aromatherapy.
